Hi, I'm Anastasios.

I'm a frontend engineer at Deloitte Digital, leading a team of three and working in React and TypeScript on a platform used by hundreds of thousands of people across 14 markets. I studied Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Patras and finished my MEng in 2024.

Alongside that, I built El-Professor on my own: a multi-tenant SaaS for tutoring schools, from the scheduling engine to attendance-driven billing and payroll. It's live, and a client pays for it. I care most about the interface, but I've built the backend underneath one too.

I work from Heraklion, Crete, I'm an EU citizen, and I'm open to remote / relocation.

Frontend Software Engineer
Production React and TypeScript on an enterprise platform serving hundreds of thousands of users across 14 international markets. Leading a team of 3 developers.
- Lead a team of 3 developers: reviewing their code, owning production deployments, and setting the review standard for what ships.
- Own frontend delivery for a search-and-discovery experience on Algolia, against a replica-per-sort index topology and a content pipeline delta-synced every 10 minutes.
- Build and maintain the Redux state layer behind a multi-step booking funnel, carrying selections through to payment.
- Build React and TypeScript components and API-driven flows for 14 live markets across Europe, Turkey, India and the Americas, covered by Jest and React Testing Library tests.
- Root-cause production-only failures: replaced an IntersectionObserver system that broke under a custom body scroller, and traced a date bug to Safari rejecting hyphenated ISO strings.

- Delivered features end to end with minimal supervision.
- Built responsive web UIs and integrated third-party APIs.
- Rebuilt a set of Python REST endpoints as a GraphQL API with Strawberry, designing the schema types and resolvers so clients fetch only the fields they need.
